Amal is an international student from Gaza, Palestine. She is a current doctoral student in the Educational Psychology program at UNM. Amal has a bachelor's degree in English language and a master’s in educational psychology from UNM. She is interested in evaluation as it helps measure the effectiveness of interventions/programs.   Her research interests are motivation, situational interest, and academic choice. Amal is the assistant coordinator for the learning strategies team at the Center for Teaching and Learning at UNM.
